Introduction

Lifestyle First is a social group created to help healthcare professionals and healthcare business owners manage their practices in a way that allows for exceptional lives where one’s priorities are in order of importance, not urgency. Our vision of this priority list – Family, Friends, Free Time and Finances – is easily achievable. Obviously your priorities will differ based on who you are and what you believe but we have to have a list to create a common point of reference and the principles are the same for anyone who desires life before work. This group will help you maximize efficiency and profitability in your practice, create well thought out boundaries to contain the practice beast within the agreed upon work schedule and thus make the chasing of dollars secondary to living life. When work does not encroach upon and/or engulf the rest of your waking hours it is amazing what is possible. When you have your particular set of priorities in order and combine that with the smooth, efficient economic machine that a healthcare practice can be, it is incredible what you can achieve. We can help you get there.

 

Details

Much like groups we have been involved with in the past, L1 is a members only, online forum of those who apply for and are accepted into the family. We suspect this will be mostly orthodontists but not everyone in the group will be. We welcome other healthcare professionals as well as those who own DSO type businesses in dentistry or medicine. As we have always done we will consider the applicant and their spouse as a unit, assessing applications and granting membership to both should those applying for membership be a couple. As a new twist we plan to allow members to include up to two of their children in the group should we determine that their inclusion will be beneficial to all involved. Finally, we will not be allowing C suite employees or employees of any kind into the group. Group access will include:

• Creation of a profile on the Lifestyle First Hivebrite forum so that you can engage the membership at will. 
• The opportunity to schedule a visit for L1 members to Smiley Face.
• Access to any and all L1 meetings/gatherings you choose to attend.
• The opportunity to schedule trips to our L1 Campuses in South Africa, Kentucky or Florida for family adventure, fishing and fun!
• The opportunity to schedule a time to play a round of golf at Isleworth Country Club with Ben/Bridget

 

Cost

Annual membership in Lifestyle First will be $10,000.00 USD paid by check or wire transfer. Cost of meetings, travel, food and beverage, accommodation or other ancillary associated expenses are not included. 

 

Expectation of privacy

Each member is expected to keep everything discussed or posted on the L1 site/app/communications confidential. Any information shared at L1 in person meetings/gatherings – formally or informally – should likewise be kept in confidence. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the Lifestyle First community.
